What is metadata?
Metadata is hidden information stored inside a file. A phone photo can secretly contain the exact GPS location where it was taken, the phone model and the time. A PDF can contain the author's name and the software used.
How to use

Why is the photo size different?
To wipe the hidden data, the photo is re-saved, so the size can change a little.
Does it remove text written inside a PDF?
No. Only hidden document info such as author and software is removed. Visible text, comments and pictures stay.
